The Safe Travel Insurance is applied to all direct bookings

At Idyll Suites we take care of our guests and wish that you enjoy your holiday feeling completely secure and with peace of mind. That’s why we are offering an added value to each of our hotel guests through Europ Assistance. This is a basic insurance that covers our guests for any medical problems during the stay at the hotel (including Covid-19).

Once a client has made a booking via our website, by phone or email, the insurance will be added to the booking automatically and free of charge. Guests have to worry about absolutely anything and may enjoy from the insurance coverage from the moment they arrive at the hotel until their check-out date.

  • Medical expenses incurred in the event of illness (including Covid-19) or an incident happening during the stay at the hotel. Limit: 6.000€
  • Emergency dental expenses. Limit: up to 300€
  • Medical advise service (medical phone consultation)
  • Medical transportation services for sick or injured individuals
  • Transportation of mortal remains
  • Emergency transportation to hospital
  • Extension of stay at the hotel of the insured individual in case of illness or an accident (for a maximum 14 days). Limit: 75€ per day
  • Extension of the accompanying person at the hotel in the event of hospitalization of the insured (maximum 10 days).Limit: 100€ per day.
  • Return trip of those accompanying the insured in the same booking.
  • Travel expenses incurred by the insured individual
  • Travel expenses of a person to accompany the insured individual at the clinic (over 5 days)
  • Expenses incurred by an accompanying person in the event of hospitalisation of the insured. (for hospital stays over 5 days and up to 10 days). :imit: up to 100€ per day.
  • Expenses incurred by the accompaying individual during transportation of the mortal remains of the insured (maximum stay of 5 days). Limit: 100€ per day.
  • Sending of a doctor to the hotel
  • Sending of an ambulance
  • Travel expenses of the accompanying individual in situ (maximum 10 days). Límit: 20 € per day.
  • Expenses incurred by the accompanying individual’s stay at the clinic (maximum 10 days). Limit: 100€ per day.
  • Cancellation of trip already started: Limit 500€

Safety and hygiene at our hotel is the highest priority.

Building

  • All our apartments have been built to ensure the “natural cross ventilation” in order to avoid the well-known possible infection due to airconditioning filters, both found in hotels and cruise ships.

Staff

  • All our staff has and continues to receive specific training on the new Safety, Hygiene and Prevention Protocols adapted to each workplace.
  • Social distancing policy between clients and employees throughout the hotel.
  • Staff will use face masks and gloves where the security distance can not be guaranteed.
  • Compulsory daily checking of employee’s temperature before starting work.

Common Areas

  • All our corridors & aisles are wide, well ventilated and full of light.
  • Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at the entrance of all public areas and spaces of intensive use as well as at lifts entrances.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures for public spaces. Special attention is paid to toilets, lifts, railings and other surfaces of high contact.

Reception

  • Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at reception entrance and throughout the area.
  • Screens installed at the reception desk.
  • Non-contact laser thermometer to take optionally guest’s temperature.
  • Signaling tapes and marks to ensure correct queueing and distancing at reception desk.
  • Payment by contactless credit/debit card will be encouraged. Disinfection of dataphone after each use.
  • Disinfection and sanitation of room cards after each use.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of reception desk, computer keyboard, mouse and telephones.
  • To carry guest’s luggage, our reception staff will use disposable gloves and/or disinfectant wipes to clean handles, trolleys, etc.

Apartments

  • Some items have been removed from the rooms. Our amenities include a bottle of hand sanitiser dispenser and a kit of two face masks.
  • TV and ceiling fans remote controls are sanitised after departure of each guest and are given to new guests in its corresponding sanitised bag.
  • Reinforced cleaning and disinfection procedures for cleaning of each room with effective virucidal and disinfecting chemicals.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of high contact areas like light switches, electric sockets, handles, doors, taps, cloth hangers, hairdryers, etc.
  • Whenever possible, each apartment will remain free a minimum of 24 hours before being occupied by new guests.
  • Sheets, towels and other textiles will be washed with special programmes and pure oxygen to guarantee the highest level of cleaning.

Pool & Sundeck

  • Our large sundeck guarantees a distance of 8 meters between umbrellas.
  • Reinforced cleaning and disinfection of sundeck area. Sunbeds will be cleaned and sanitised after each client’s use.
  • Reinforced maintenance and cleaning of pool to monitore and guarantee highest water quality.
  • Reinforced cleaning and disinfection of public toilets. Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at public and pool toilets.

Bar & Restaurant

  • Restaurant with a large terrace, open on three sides, to guarantee an excellent ventilation.
  • Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at all entrances.
  • Informative panel at entrance informing of access rules. Staff will manage entry and show clients to their assigned tables.
  • Minimum distance of 1.5 metres between tables.
  • Signaling tapes and marks to ensure correct queueing and distancing at bar counter.
  • All elements of common use like salt and pepper shakers, oil cruets, etc. will only be served upon request. All elements will be sanitized after each use.
  • Payment by contactless credit/debit card will be enhanced. Disinfection of payphone after each use.
  • Breakfast and meals are served to the tables.
  • Tables, chairs, armrests and any item left on the table shall be disinfected after each use.
  • Tablecloths will be changed after used by each client and will be washed with pure oxygen.
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of bar toilets, which will have hydroalcoholic gel dispensers.
  • Room service (for dinner only) and for guests who prefer to have dinner at the apartment. Due to reasons of organization, room service is available only upon prior request to keep the temperature of at the right level.
